Prof. Feng Bai, Principal Inverstigator,the winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund

 Bai Feng was born in 1976.08. He is doctoral tutor in Henan University and obtained the National Development Fund Excellent Youth Fund, academic and technical leader of Henan Provincial Department of Education. In 2005, he received his PhD degrees in polymer chemistry and physics, Nankai University. Then, he worked as Postdoc at Tsinghua University, New Mexico University and Sandia National Lab (National Laboratory). In 2010, He was appointed as Yellow River Scholar of Henan University. He is currently Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Special Functional Materials, Henan University. Prof. Feng Bai has been engaged in the synthesis of self-assembly units, the preparation of self-assembled nanomaterials and performance research for many years. He has achieved a series of innovative results and acquired certain advantages. In 2014, he won the National Development Fund Excellent Youth Fund (Inorganic Chemistry), the National Natural Science Foundation Project (Preparation of High Catalytic Performance Platinum Nanoporous Materials by Template Photocatalysis (21171049)) and the Henan Province Department of Education for Science and Technology Innovation Talent Support Program. Since 2004, more than thirty papers have been published in the world famous journals, such as Nano Lettes, ACS Nano, Angew. Chem. Inter. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Macromolecules, Chem. Comm., J. Mater. Chem., Chem. Mater. and they were cited over 1,000 times with H-index of 21. In addition, five patents (China and America) have been authorized. In 2014, he obtained the “18th May 4th Medal of Henan Province” and “Henan Youth Science and Technology Progress Award”. In 2010, he won the R&D 100 Awards (ranked third) with the reputation of “Technology Innovation Oscar”.
